The Museum is closed to the public as we prepare for the Accessibility Project, however outdoor and off-site events are still planned for 2015.
Staff is available Monday - Friday, 9-5 for business purposes only. We advise calling ahead; construction may cause closures.
Once we re-open in late 2015, hours of operation will be:

||MUSEUM RECEIVES AWARDS FOR ASYLUM EXHIBIT AND PROGRAMMING

The Wood County Historical Center & Museum was awarded the 2014 Ohio Museum Association (OMA) Award of Achievement for Best Community Partnership under $500,000 for its work done in conjunction with the exhibit ASYLUM: Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals. Saturday, May 23 with the Voices of Harmony barbershop quartet
- BOWLING GREEN MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
Monday, May 25 - the opening float with the Voices of Harmony barbershop quartet singing the National Anthem. Parade starts at 10:30 am from the BG Post Office (S. Main/Washington), north on Main Street, then east on Court St. ending at Oak Grove Cemetery for a wreath laying ceremony.
