May is Preservation Month, and we are ready to celebrate!
JOIN US for a photo shoot on Thursday, May 17, 5:30 PM in the Paupers' Cemetery. All are welcome!
This Place Matters is a national campaign that encourages people to celebrate the places that are meaningful to them and to their communities, and Preservation Month is the perfect time to share it with the world.
During the month of May, please take the time to post your pictures of the Wood County Historical Museum using the hashtag #ThisPlaceMatters. Also check out the National Trust on Facebook for more cool tools to help you show your love.
This campaign isn’t just about photography - it’s about telling the stories of the places we can’t live without. Through This Place Matters, we hope to encourage and inspire an ongoing dialogue about the importance of place and preservation in all of our lives that lasts far beyond the month of May.
