SUMMARY:Grand Re-Opening & Ribbon Cutting for the Wood County Museum
DESCRIPTION:We are happy to announce that after being closed for much of 2023\, that the Wood County Museum is ready to re-open its doors! Just this week\, the last bit of flooring was laid and now we can start to rebuild the exhibits. We are very excited to be able to share the history of Wood County with the public once again in this cherished historical building.\n\nAs you may or may not know\, on December 27\, 2022 the Wood County Museum suffered significant water damage as a result of the Christmas weekend storms. With 11 of the 88 radiators either cracking or bursting under the negative degree temperatures and winds\, the museum sustained over $50\,000 worth of storm & flood damage.\n\nWe would love if you would be able to attend the joint Grand Re-Opening & Ribbon Cutting ceremony that we have planned with the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce\, Perrysburg Chamber of Commerce\, and North Baltimore Chamber of Commerce. DESCRIPTION:Join Mike McMaster as he gives an education program over The History and Legend of Holcomb Road. \n*THIS IS EVENT IS AT THE NORTH BALTIMORE PUBLIC LIBRARY* \nHolcomb Road is a road in Wood County\, Ohio that first gained local\, then regional attention as the site of paranormal activity.  The history of Holcomb Road goes far beyond simply retelling the ghostly legend.  From the road’s inception in 1857 until today\, the history of Holcomb Road has changed many times in the course of 166 years.  This program looks at both\, the history of the place\, and the origins of the ghostly legends surrounding Holcomb Road.
