Talks and trunks for adults and schools

Schedule a talk or trunk for your classroom or adult organization, or consider a field trip to the Historical Center. Talks and tours available as well as use of our meeting room for meetings, training, or banquets. The Museum grounds provide ample space for lunches, overnight camps, and youth activities.

We work closely with schools K-12, universities, Scouts, 4-H, Wood County agencies and departments, parks and outdoor services, senior centers, daycare facilities, and organizations that serve adults and children with developmental disabilities.

While we do accept walk-ins for self-guided tours, please call ahead for special discounted rates for large or special needs groups. The Museum is handicap accessible. Handicap parking and elevator entrance is located behind the museum.

School and adult talks within Wood County are free, but donations are welcome. Outside of Wood County, we only charge for mileage.

We are able to offer educational programs at no charge thanks to support from:

Wood County Historical Society | Denise Brennan
