How did the mothers, daughters, sisters, and girlfriends of men sent to war during WWII, with little experience, step onto assembly lines and turn the U.S. into the “Arsenal of Democracy”? Discover the extraordinary history of Michigan’s Willow Run B-24 Bomber Plant, the iconic story of Rosie the Riveter, and the powerful impact of women on the American home front in the 1940s.
Presented by “Rosie” in authentic period costume, this program will have you laughing, crying, chanting, and cheering as you witness the Can-Do teamwork that shaped America’s wartime success—and continues to inspire young people worldwide today!
